Spelling & Reading Support...That Works
Convenient Online or In Person Support
Lessons are customised to your child's specific learning profile.
Suited to primary school students, giving Tier 3 reading and spelling support to teachers and parents who are homeschooling.
You receive a comprehensive diagnostic assessment that details your child's reading and spelling gaps.
How can literacy support help your child ?
This is not a one-size fits all program.
Your child receives individualised attention from start to finish with lesson plans tailored specifically around your child’s learning profile.
The extensive initial assessment and screens ensure your child is placed at the correct level of instruction. As the instructor is a qualified and experienced speech therapist, language assessments only used by speech pathologists can provide a deeper understanding of your child's literacy profile.
The service offers Tier 3 support for kids with a formal diagnosed reading disorder or can offer the required evidence-based intervention before being formally assessed for a Specific Learning Disorder with impairment in reading.
In addition to many years of experience remediating reading and spelling difficulties, the therapist has a verified and current Working with Children Check.
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
Offering both in-person and online sessions with video conferencing.
In-person appointments are available on selected days in the Ryde area.
With this flexibility, quality instruction is ensured for all students whether they're stuck inside on bad weather days, lockdowns or have other obligations outside of regular class hours.
